Over the past three decades, the Vietnam Center and Archive have been dedicated to collecting, preserving, and providing access to the history of the Vietnam War to ensure that our nation never forgets the service and sacrifice of our Vietnam veterans and their families. We also are dedicated to promoting a better understanding of the Vietnam War through conferences and symposia, guest speakers, and many other educational programs.

In addition to traditional archival materials like documents and photographs, we have received innumerable artifacts in our collections to include uniforms, equipment, weapons, and even helicopters.

It is time to place these amazing materials on display so that veterans and their families, teachers and students, scholars and researchers, and the American public can see them and learn first-hand about the history of the Vietnam War through state-of-the-art and interactive museum exhibits and an unforgettable immersive experience.

Our Vietnam veterans and their families deserve a museum that tells the story of their service and sacrifice during the Vietnam War. The right place for that museum is the Vietnam Center and Archive and Texas Tech University. We hope you will join us in supporting this critically important project.

We invite everyone to be a part of building what will become a National Treasure at Texas Tech. If you are a Vietnam veteran, a family member, a civilian participant in the wartime events of the Vietnam War, or just a member of the interested public, we invite you to contact us to make a contribution. We welcome the donation of materials and artifacts that can be used for research and for possible inclusion in exhibits in The Museum of the Vietnam War at Texas Tech University. We also welcome whatever financial contributions you can make toward this very worthy cause. No amount is too small and we thank you in advance for whatever level of donation you can make.

We hope you will visit this site often for updates and new information about our building plans, museum designs, exhibits, and fundraising progress.
